1. GENERAL INFORMATION
Samuel Roofing Inc. provides residential and commercial roofing services including roof installation, roof replacement, roof repair, roof maintenance, silicone coating, torch-down systems, decking & plywood replacement, and related roofing work.
By using our website, requesting a quote, or signing a service agreement, you agree to the terms listed below.
2. ESTIMATES & INSPECTIONS
All roof inspections and estimates are free unless stated otherwise.
Estimates are based on a visual inspection only.
Any hidden damage (plywood, framing, underlayment, water intrusion, termite damage, etc.) cannot be identified until work begins.
Additional work discovered during construction will require a written change order before continuing.
3. PRICING & PAYMENT TERMS
Pricing varies depending on material selection, measurements, roof structure, and project complexity.
A deposit may be required upon signing the contract in compliance with CSLB regulations (no more than 10% or $1,000).
Payment schedule must be followed as stated in the signed contract.
Accepted payment methods may include credit card, ACH, Zelle, check, or bank transfer.
Late or unpaid balances may incur additional fees.
4. PROMOTIONS & DISCOUNTS
Samuel Roofing Inc. may offer online promotions, including Google Ads promotions. All promotions are subject to the following terms:
– Valid only for full roof replacement projects unless stated otherwise.
– Minimum job size may apply.
– Promotions cannot be combined with other discounts or insurance claims.
– Property must be located inside our service area.
– Final discount is applied only after inspection and confirmation of the project scope.
Samuel Roofing Inc. reserves the right to modify or discontinue any promotion without notice.
5. CHANGE ORDERS
Any additional work required after roof tear-off or during the project — such as damaged plywood, framing, fascia, waterproofing, or code-required upgrades — will be documented and approved through a separate written change order.
No additional work will proceed without customer approval.
6. PROJECT SCHEDULING
Start dates and completion dates are estimates and may change based on weather, inspections, material availability, or unforeseen delays.
Samuel Roofing Inc. is not responsible for delays caused by events beyond our control.
7. MATERIALS & MANUFACTURER WARRANTIES
Roofing materials come with manufacturer warranties (Owens Corning, GAF, Boral, Polyfresko, etc.).
Manufacturer warranties are separate from Samuel Roofing Inc.’s workmanship warranty.
Warranty documents can be provided upon request.
Color, style, and product variations may occur depending on material availability.
8. WORKMANSHIP WARRANTY
Samuel Roofing Inc. provides a workmanship warranty for new roof installations and replacements as defined in the customer’s contract.
This warranty does not cover:
– Storm damage or natural disasters
– Damage caused by unauthorized third-party work
– Poor maintenance or neglect
– Leaks caused by HVAC, plumbing, solar installations, or other penetrations not performed by Samuel Roofing Inc.
– Other exclusions defined in the signed contract
9. PROPERTY ACCESS & SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
To ensure project completion, the customer agrees to:
– Provide full access to the property during scheduled work hours
– Secure pets and personal belongings
– Allow roof access for ladders, trucks, dumpsters, and roofing equipment
Samuel Roofing Inc. follows OSHA safety standards at all job sites.
10. INSURANCE CLAIMS
For insurance-related roofing projects:
Customer is responsible for paying all deductibles.
Insurance approvals are determined solely by the insurance carrier.
Samuel Roofing Inc. does not guarantee insurance coverage or payout results.
Additional work not covered by insurance will be billed directly to the customer.
11. CANCELLATION POLICY
Customers may cancel within 3 business days of signing the contract, as required by California law.
After 3 days, cancellation fees may apply to permit applications, materials already purchased, deliveries scheduled, or labor reserved.
12. LIABILITY LIMITATIONS
While Samuel Roofing Inc. is fully licensed and insured, we are not responsible for:
– Pre-existing damage or structural failures
– Hidden conditions uncovered during the project
– Damage caused by severe weather while the roof is open
– Issues caused by electrical, HVAC, plumbing, or satellite equipment attached to the roof
– Any delays beyond our control
